Providing to the Community

The Clare District Lions Furniture Store provides affordable good quality second hand furniture for the community.  This includes cupboards, tables, chairs, lounges and beds of all shapes, sizes and eras.  We are open on Fridays, from 9:30 to 3:30 and Saturdays from 9:00 to 12:00.  The store is located at 2 Harriett Street, Clare, which is behind Ray White Real Estate at the northern end of the main street.

We provide a free pickup service within approx. half an hour of Clare.  We can also deliver purchased furniture – the cost for delivery ranges from $10 up to $45, depending on the location.

Since starting in June 2019, we have received more than 3,500 items and funds raised have been used for many local community projects.  The total funding of these projects since then, is over $45,000.

We are grateful for support from the community both with furniture donations and with purchases from the store.  We are also grateful to the business community and funding organisations for their support.  These include Geoff & Daniel Schell, Waterloo Wind Farm, Jim Barry Wines and Clare Metal Fabrications.
